Joe Channell has a diverse range of work experience in the field of training and development. Joe started their career at Liberty Savings Bank in 2006, where they held multiple roles including Corporate Trainer, HR Recruiter, and Financial Center Supervisor.
At Clopay Building Products, Joe worked as a Training Supervisor from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they led a learning and development team, collaborated with subject matter experts, controlled the fiscal aspects of the customer service learning program, and ensured the quality of the learning program.
From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Abbott as a Training Specialist, where they designed and developed on-the-job modules, administered the Learning Management System, and conducted annual curriculum reviews.
Currently, Joe is in the role of VP Training Director at Security State Bank & Trust since 2018.
In 2011, they had a temporary position as an Educator at First Financial Bank.

Joe Channell began their education in the year 2000 at Wright State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Accounting. Joe completed their studies at Wright State University in 2004. In the same year, they attended Sinclair Community College, specializing in Real Estate, and completed their degree there.
Subsequently, Joe Channell pursued higher education and enrolled at the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management.
Furthermore, Joe Channell obtained the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Instructional Designerâ„¢ certification from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in May 2023.
