Myka Persson currently serves as the MSOT Program Director at Stanbridge University since January 2023. With extensive experience in occupational therapy, Myka has been an Ocean Lifeguard for the Los Angeles County Fire Department since May 2014 and worked as an Associate Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California from August 2011 to December 2022. Prior to these roles, Myka was an Occupational Therapist and Infant Development Specialist at The Starting Block from January 2008 to August 2011. Educationally, Myka holds a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) and a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Creative Writing from the same institution.
