Zarir Erani has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2015 when they were appointed President/CEO of Sun Country Airlines. In this role, they focused on taking the organization from surviving to thriving, resetting the culture and transforming the client facing e-commerce systems for a mobile audience. In 2017, they joined Best Buy as a Continuous Improvement Coach - Consultant, advising and guiding several leaders in the concepts of continuous improvement. In 2018, Zarir joined gihgs, Inc. as Chief Evangelist, working to build a trusted and transparent marketplace for the gig economy. That same year, they also joined Allen Interactions Inc. as Chief Executive Officer and President, leading the industry in ridding the world of boring and ineffective learning. In 2019, Zarir was appointed Board Director of The Sentence Data Refinery Inc., an organization that uses technology to read and interpret sentence data. In 2020, Zarir joined VenueScreen as President and Innovate Connect as a Member of the Board of Advisors. Finally, in 2022, Zarir joined Westwood Community Church as a Leadership Board Member and AccessAbility, Inc. as Board Chairman.

Zarir Erani has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas, with a focus in MIS. Zarir also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a double major in Computer Science, Marketing, and Finance. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Design 100: Boring Is Bad from Allen Academy in October 2020.
