Tom Doherty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical training and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Technical Enablement at New Relic, Inc. since March 2014, Tom excels in crafting comprehensive training programs for the Go To Market team and overseeing technical customer trainers. Previous roles at New Relic include Lead Technical Training Program Manager and Senior Technical Training Specialist, which focused on aligning internal and external enablement efforts with the company’s vision. Tom's earlier experience includes positions as Software Engineer at Cruatech, where responsibilities involved hardware integrations for a security management application, and at Ericsson, where Tom contributed to the development and maintenance of Java applications in a telecommunications environment. Tom holds a BEng in Software Engineering from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus.
