Melissa is currently the Head of Marketing at Scytale. Melissa has over five years of experience in marketing, with a focus on growth, lead gen, and brand strategy. Melissa has built the marketing operation from scratch and has experience in website and brand/content development, PR and analyst relations, social media, conferences, webinars, SEO, PPC, Linkedin Outreach, SDR management, marketing automation and email marketing, customer retention, budgets and planning, product marketing, and vendor management.
In their previous role as Head of Marketing at OCTOPAI, Melissa was responsible for the entire marketing funnel from lead gen to end of sales pipeline, with a focus on customer journey optimization. Melissa is experienced in demand gen planning and execution, and skilled in setting up, managing and measuring marketing automation campaigns to engage leads. Melissa is a detail-oriented project manager with experience in planning and executing projects with goals and milestones. Melissa is also experienced in establishing and analyzing KPIs to determine channel allocation, messaging and content. In their role at OCTOPAI, Melissa also developed and led internal processes to ensure successful scale. Melissa managed a team of 3 in-house marketers, 3 SDRs, and over 15 external vendors.
Melissa received a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs at the University of California, Davis.
They work with Tom Arad - CTO, Shir Wegman - Product, and Hila Ashbel - HR. Melissa reports to Meiran Galis, CEO. Some direct reports include Talia Vigliotta - Content Manager, Josh Pincus - Community Manager.
