Andrew Cottrell is a Partner at ScottMadden, Inc. since July 2023, following a distinguished career at Applied Energy Group, Inc. where roles included Managing Director, Director, Principal Consultant, and Senior Analyst from July 2010 to July 2023. Prior to this, Andrew Cottrell served as a Research Project Coordinator at Rutgers University, focusing on wholesale electricity market modeling and developing cost-benefit analysis models for energy programs. As an Independent Consultant, Andrew Cottrell provided expert analytical support for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission filings and civil litigation. Andrew Cottrell holds an AB in Engineering from Lafayette College and a Master's in Public Policy from Rutgers University.
