Samuel Samara has extensive experience in network infrastructure and technology education. As the Network Infrastructure Manager for Scott County, Iowa, since August 2003, Samuel leads a six-member team and acts as a senior technical advisor in the Network Infrastructure Support Division. Concurrently, Samuel serves as an Adjunct Technology Instructor at Eastern Iowa Community College District, specializing in the Cisco Certified Academy’s CCNA/CCNP program. Additional experience includes a past role as Business President and Assistant Fire Chief at Long Grove Volunteer Fire Department, where Samuel managed departmental finance and budget while serving as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical responder. Previous positions held include Senior Network Administrator at Sprint and Network Administrator at Verizon Wireless, with a focus on network design, management, and administration across multiple states. Samuel's educational background includes a B.A. in Applied Studies from the University of Iowa and various degrees in Liberal Arts, Information Technology, and Electronics Engineering Technology from Eastern Iowa Community College and Hamilton Technical College.
