Vanessa Black has a diverse work experience in various roles within the customer relationship and support field. Vanessa is currently working as a Customer Relationship Lead at Scope since 2019. Prior to that, Vanessa worked at Scope (Aust) from 2009 to 2019, where they held multiple roles including Residential Coordinator and Coordinator Flexible Respite. In 2011, Vanessa served as a Guest Speaker Facilitator at the Lions Club of Footscray. Vanessa also worked at VicDeaf from 2005 to 2009 as a Team Leader for Independent Living Skills. Vanessa started their career at Able Australia in 2000, where they held roles such as Plan Facilitator & Volunteer Coordinator and Instructor/Disability Support Worker/OH&S representative.
Vanessa Black completed their education at various institutions. Vanessa pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Legal Studies, Politics, and Religion, from LaTrobe University. Following that, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Social Work with an International Stream focusing on Social Sciences from the same university. Prior to their university studies, Vanessa attended Kilbreda College and completed their VCE. Additionally, they hold a Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability Work) from Kangan Batman TAFE.
