Gary Patou is a highly experienced clinical advisor and board member with a robust background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Clinical Advisor at Electra Therapeutics and Advisor at the Scleroderma Research Foundation, Gary has held significant leadership roles over the years, including Chief Medical Officer at Blade Therapeutics and Pacira Pharmaceuticals, and Head of Clinical at Chiasma. Notable achievements include guiding clinical development programs leading to NDA and BLA approvals, as well as successfully conducting pivotal clinical trials. Gary has also been involved in investment sourcing and clinical strategy development at MPM Capital and has contributed to various committees and boards, including as Chair of the Nomination and Governance Committee at Xenon Pharmaceuticals.
