Kjell Nybråten has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Kjell started their career in 1985 at Skatteetaten, where they worked as a Prosjektleder, Informasjonsansvarlig, and Instruktør ved innføring av datastøtte until 1997. Following that, they joined Anet / Nesthood as a Sales Manager from 1997 to 1999. Kjell then moved on to become the CEO of Know IT Objectnet AS from 1999 to 2007. After that, they served as Chairman at Empiri from 2006 to 2011. In 2007, they became the Chairman of Agitec AS until 2021. Additionally, they took on the role of CEO at Technofarm from 2007 to 2012. Kjell concurrently served as the Chairman of Macsimum from 2012 to 2019. In 2012, they became the CEO of Scienta AS and continues to hold that position. Furthermore, they serve as the Chairman of The Rebel starting from 2017.

From 1996 to 1997, Kjell Nybråten attended BI Norwegian Business School, where they pursued a Master of Management degree with a specialization in Endringsledelse (Change Management).
