Seton Schiraga, PE, currently serves as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Science since January 2022, focusing on BCI product development, team building, and interdisciplinary liaison, among other responsibilities. Seton is also the founder of ArTen Designs, an R&D lab dedicated to IP and product development, operational since April 2012. Prior experience includes a senior mechanical engineering role at Mettler-Toledo Rainin from January 2013 to January 2022, where Seton worked on precision liquid handling robotics and led a technical team. Additional experience includes a senior mechanical design engineer position at DOER Marine, contributing to robotics design for harsh environments, and a manufacturing engineer role at Plastikon. Seton holds a BS in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has a background in marine education.
