John Feutz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John started their career in the US Army, serving as an Aviation Company Commander and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer from 1994 to 1998. After leaving the army, they worked at GE Aircraft Engines, first as an e.Commerce Sourcing Leader, Cell Support Leader, and Material Planner from 1998 to 2001, and later as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing Leader from 2001 to 2005. John then joined Motorola Mobile Devices as a Master Black Belt from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the Chief of Staff / Battalion Executive Officer in the US Army. John then transitioned to Motorola Mobility, where they worked as a Master Black Belt, focusing on Business Transformation from 2010 to 2012. Following their time at Motorola, they served in various roles in the North Carolina Army National Guard, including Deputy Director of Aviation, State Aviation Office from 2013 to 2014, and Aviation Brigade Operations and Training Officer from 2012 to 2013. John then moved to the consulting field, working as a Senior Consultant for a Management Consulting firm from 2014 to 2015. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Project Manager, MBB at Allscripts from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they became the VP of Operations at Schmalz Vacuum Technology.
John Feutz graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1989. John then pursued further education and completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 2003 and 2005.
