Customer Success Manager at Savvas Learning

Laura Mentgen, PMP®, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and education sectors. Laura began their career as a Tech Assistant at Ottawa Elementary School District #141 in 1998 and later served as a Technology Coordinator at Tonica Elementary School, Coa City School District 1, and ALLEN OTTER CREEK CCSD 65.

In 2009, Laura joined Pearson K-12 Learning as a PowerSchool Implementation Project Manager, Deployment Project Manager, and Quality Assurance Specialist. Laura then transitioned to Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) in 2017 as a Customer Service Manager.

Laura's role at Pearson K-12 Learning expanded to include the position of iLit Project Manager, where they played a vital role in managing the iLit project. Laura also worked as a Senior Customer Experience Manager at SchoolMint, where they led client onboarding, troubleshooted and mitigated issues, and trained customers on the SchoolMint Enroll product.

Currently, Laura is working as a Customer Success Manager at Savvas Learning Company, where they apply their expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Throughout their career, Laura has consistently demonstrated their project management skills and ability to handle various responsibilities, making their a valuable asset in their work domains.

Laura Mentgen, PMP®, completed their education in Nursing Education at Illinois Valley Community College from 1986 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Customer Service Foundations (2020), The 10 Pillars of Customer Experience (2023), Business Process Improvement (2022), Smartsheet Essential Training (2022), Google Certified Educator Level 2 (2020), Google Certified Educator Level 1 (2020), Learning to Be Approachable (2018), Project Management Professional (PMP)® (2018), and Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Exam Preparation (2017). These certifications demonstrate their commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in various areas relevant to their profession.
