Mario Castellon, CPA, CGMA, MST has over 20 years of professional experience in accounting and finance. In 2000, they founded Castellon Professional Services, providing financial and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, closely-held corporations and multinational publicly traded corporations. In 2007, they became the Executive Co-Chair of Finance Committee for the Mayor of San Francisco's Biotech Action Committee (MayBAC). In 2004, they Co-Founded and Chaired the Board of E-SOC, Inc. and was a Board Member and Director of Finance for MandalMed, Inc. In 2006, they became a Board Member and Treasurer of the California Marina Homeowners Association. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Director of Tax for Celera, followed by their role as Director of Tax and Treasury for Raptor Pharmaceutical from 2012 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Interim Chief Financial Officer for Satellite Deskworks & Workplaces and in 2020, they assumed the same role for ImpriMed, Inc. Additionally, they have been a part-time student at Golden Gate University since 2017.
Mario Castellon, CPA, CGMA, MST has an extensive education history. In 2017-2018, they obtained a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Business Administration with an Option in Accounting from California State University, Fresno in 1992-1996. In 2012, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from CIMA. In 2005, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the CA State Board of Accountancy.
