Oliver Karius serves as the CEO and Partner at LGT Venture Philanthropy Foundation, which focuses on improving the quality of life for disadvantaged people and contributing to sustainable development goals through philanthropic capital. In addition to this role, Oliver Karius holds various leadership positions including Partner at ahueni, Board Member at WaterFunds and SummaFoundation, and Advisory Committee Member at EveryoneForClimate Foundation. Oliver Karius has been actively involved in organizations such as the BMW Young European Leaders Forum and served as a Young Global Leader for the African Leadership Network. With a solid educational background, including an MSc in Environment and Policy from Imperial College London and a diploma in Anthropology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Oliver Karius also contributed as a Founding Trustee of the GivenGain Foundation and was previously a Board Member at M-KOPA, a pioneering solar energy provider in East Africa.
