David Wilson possesses extensive experience in the mining and resource sector, currently serving as the Head of Commercial at Sandfire since October 2020, with previous roles including Head of Technical, Planning and Marketing, and Head of Business Development and Technical Support. Prior to Sandfire, David held various VP positions at South32 from May 2015 to October 2020, focusing on Planning and Projects. David's tenure at BHP Billiton spanned over a decade, where responsibilities included project management and strategic planning at the Olympic Dam project. Earlier in David's career, positions included managerial roles at WMC Resources, Pasminco, and Palabora Mining Company. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from La Trobe University, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
