Brandon Bontrager has a diverse work experience in various industries. Brandon is currently the Co-Founder and CCO of Sandbar since April 2021.

Prior to that, Brandon worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. for several years. Brandon'sroles included being a Senior Compliance Officer with a focus on LE & FIU Projects in Global Financial Crimes from March 2020 to March 2021. In this role, they led projects and worked with stakeholders globally for the implementation of monitoring methods, models enhancements, and regulatory updates.

Before that, Brandon was a Senior Compliance Officer with a focus on Transaction Monitoring in Global Financial Crimes from March 2019 to March 2020. Brandon was responsible for setting policies and alerting mechanisms on the customer population.

From October 2016 to March 2019, Brandon held the position of Senior Compliance Officer in the Case Review Unit in Global Financial Crimes. Brandon reviewed and submitted case work to FinCEN and provided guidance to colleagues on typologies and assessments.

Brandon's career at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. started in April 2014 as a Compliance Officer in Global Financial Crimes. In this role, they analyzed cases and worked with various groups and alerting channels.

Before joining JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Brandon worked at Sun Hydraulics as an Accountant / Finance Operations professional from March 2012 to April 2014.

Brandon Bontrager completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida in the years 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University, which was completed in 2019.
