Stephanie Smythers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stephanie began their career as a Server at Oceano Bistro in 2013. In 2014, they interned at Chesterfield Arts as an Event Coordinator, where they focused on raising awareness for Art Feast through social media campaigns. Stephanie also interned at Kids In The Middle as a Marketing Intern, where they implemented strategies to increase customer involvement through social media and email campaigns. Smythers furthered their internship experience at United Way of Greater St. Louis, where they collected auction items and created appealing descriptions for online auctions.
In 2014, Smythers gained experience in a managerial and HR role as the Store Manager, Human Resource Specialist, and Training Acquisition at fit-flavors, a local company that provides healthy food options.
Smythers transitioned into the fitness industry in 2017, working as a Personal Trainer at Dynamic Fitness Management until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Personal Trainer at Fit 2 Function from 2018 to 2020.
In 2020, Smythers joined Professional Employment Group as a Recruiter, where they utilized their skills to find suitable candidates for job placements. In the same year, they became the Director of Recovery Supportive Housing at Sana Lake Recovery, a position they held until their current role as a Corporate Trainer at the same company, which they started in June 2022.
Additionally, Smythers worked as an LT Recovery Coordinator at Life Time Inc. from October 2021 to May 2022, contributing to the company's recovery programs.
Stephanie Smythers graduated from Maryville University of Saint Louis in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication. Prior to that, they attended Missouri Baptist University from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Education, specializing in Elementary Education and Teaching. In addition to their formal education, Stephanie has obtained certifications in Red Cross Instructor Training from the American Red Cross in July 2022 and Crisis Prevention Institute - Verbal Intervention in June 2022.
