John Pham has extensive experience in emergency response and education in the field of fire technology and emergency medical services. Currently serving as a firefighter with the San José Fire Department since November 2021, John responds to a wide range of emergencies including fire suppression and medical trauma. Their background includes roles as an instructional assistant at Los Medanos College, where instruction is provided to EMT students, and previous firefighting positions at USS-POSCO Industries and Cordelia Fire Protection District. Additional experience as an EMT Security Officer at Berkeley Lab and training as a Fire Recruit with LAFD further enhance their qualifications. John holds an Associate of Science degree in Fire Technology, has completed a Firefighter 1 academy, and possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from California State University, Chico.
