Steve Lagorio is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as Deputy Chief in the Bureau of Investigations at the San Jose Police Department, which covers over 1.1 million residents. With a career spanning from March 1996 to the present, Steve has held various roles including Police Captain in the Special Operations Division, overseeing over 100 officers and managing an $80 million budget, and multiple lieutenant and sergeant positions focused on investigation and special operations. Additionally, Steve serves as a board member for the San Francisco Chapter of InfraGard and the California Child Abduction Task Force, and has experience in public safety sales and executive protection. Steve holds a degree in Security Management with a concentration in Information Security from American Military University, complemented by education from San Jose State University.
