Iris Rommens is an experienced Equipment Lead at Salvia BioElectronics, responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of production machines and tools, ensuring product quality and safety. Previously, Iris held roles as a Design Verification Engineer and Development Engineer, where responsibilities included planning and executing tests, designing verification plans, and contributing to certification processes. Iris has also served in various capacities at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, including student employee and commissioner for education, supporting events and student counseling. Additionally, experience includes editorial board membership for the Dutch Journal of Physics and positions in kitchen staff across several culinary establishments. Iris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
