Misty Covington possesses extensive experience in the healthcare field, currently serving as a Clinical Trial Assistant at Catawba Research since July 2022. Previously, Misty held the position of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant and Clinical Team Lead at Atrium Health from October 2006 to June 2022, where responsibilities included assisting a Family Medicine physician and leading a team of seven Medical Assistants to ensure effective clinical practices. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Services from Strayer University and a degree in Medical Assisting from South Piedmont Community College.
