Michael Archibald has over 11 years of work experience in various roles. Michael began their career in 2008 as an Academic Technology Lab Assistant at Brigham Young University - Idaho. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Administrator & IT for the David Steed Company. In 2010, they were a Software Engineer at Governet. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Web Developer at TechMediaNetwork, during which time they worked on a Ruby on Rails based CMS and a Ruby on Rails based Popup manager. In 2012, they were a Senior Software Engineer at iTransact and a Developer at Guru Technologies. In 2014, they were Co-Owner of Xappup. From 2015 to 2019, they were Director of Engineering at Nav Inc., where they maintained backend systems in ruby and did some front-end work including Angular and React. Michael also managed between 1-16 developers. In 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Mavenlink and Chief Technology Officer at SalesRabbit, Inc.

Michael Archibald attended Hillcrest High School from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Economics from Brigham Young University - Idaho between 2004 and 2008. Michael also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brigham Young University - Idaho between 2004 and 2008. In November 2017, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
