Shirish Joshi is an experienced software development professional, currently serving as Director of Software Development at AMD since February 2022. Prior to this role, Shirish held the position of Director of Software Infrastructure at Xilinx from December 2020 to January 2022. Shirish's extensive career at Cisco Systems spanned from October 2000 to December 2020, where multiple director-level roles were undertaken, including Director of Engineering in both the Network Testing Quality Assurance group for Data Center Networking and the Security Business Group, overseeing large teams and substantial budgets. Shirish also managed QA programs for Core Routing Systems and software development teams for Core Router infrastructure. Educational qualifications include an M. Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
