Reetha Manalil began their work experience at the Family Service Society of Yonkers in 1989, where they worked as a Family Service Society staff member for 19 years until 2008. After this, they transitioned to Saint Dominic's Home, where they worked as an Assistant Controller from April 2008 until the present time.

Reetha Manalil completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Iona University. Reetha attended the university from 1985 to 1989.
