Ian Whatcott's work experience includes a position as a Senior Accountant at Arranta Bio since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte from 2017 to 2022, starting as an Audit Assistant and progressing to the role of Audit Senior. Ian also worked as an Accounting Clerk at BYU Store from 2014 to 2017, where they trained and supervised other students in accounts payable work.

Ian attended Brigham Young University from 2011 to 2017, with a two-year interruption for missionary service. Ian graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

During their studies, Ian also gained experience as an Accounting Intern at Brightcove in 2015 and 2014, where they assisted with reconciliations, check-runs, and invoice processing. Ian also worked as a Software Quality Assurance Intern at Acquia in 2011.

Before their professional career, Ian worked as a Private Tutor from 2010 to 2012.

Ian Whatcott attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned their High School Diploma. During this time, they took Advanced Placement courses in Calculus, Physics, and Statistics. Ian then went on to study at Brigham Young University from 2011 to 2017, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management. Ian obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy in April 2019. Before their high school education, Ian also completed a four-year program at Littleton Seminary - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they studied Religious Studies and Ancient Scripture.
