Hugo Buchan is a skilled product engineer with experience at Safehinge Primera since June 2022, following a role as a junior product design engineer at Plum Products Ltd from January 2021 to May 2022. Previously, Hugo worked as a product design engineer at Drumond Park Ltd, where responsibilities included designing and prototyping game pieces and mechanisms. Hugo's early career involved inspecting seed potato crops for SASA from June 2018 to July 2020, as well as producing over 400 face shields during the COVID-19 pandemic for 3D Crowd. Initial work experience includes roles in hospitality, including positions at The Bridge Inn at Ratho, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, and Hotelplan UK Ltd. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Product Design Engineering from both the University of Glasgow and The Glasgow School of Art, completed between 2016 and 2020.
