Joanne Shemiot is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in student engagement and academic support. Currently serving as the Head of Student Life and Director of Student Activities at Sacred Heart Schools since October 2019, Joanne is responsible for coordinating student programs and assisting in classroom management and remote learning. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher at both Sacred Heart Schools and Francis W. Parker School, and Manager of Middle School Community Engagement at Peninsula Bridge, where Joanne oversaw initiatives for over 600 middle school students. With extensive experience in youth program management at CROYA, Joanne has developed and implemented numerous programs aimed at enhancing student well-being and education. Joanne's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Syracuse University and studies in medicine at the University of Santo Tomas.
