Renae Vania Tomczak is a seasoned leader in the mental health sector with extensive experience in nonprofit management. Currently serving as President & CEO of Mental Health America of Greater Houston since July 2018, Renae is dedicated to enhancing mental health in various communities through initiatives focused on children, integrated health care, and suicide prevention. Prior to this role, Renae was the President & CEO of Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana from June 2013 to July 2018, where efforts centered on promoting family well-being through parent education programs. Additional roles include Chief Strategic Planning Officer at Edgewater Systems for Balanced Living and President of The Bigger Picture, Inc., along with experience as Executive Director of Downtown Hammond Council and a franchise owner of Dunkin' Donuts. Renae holds a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
