Ignacio Uzcategui is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over two decades, specializing in Unix systems and data transfer applications. Currently serving as an Open IT Consultant at SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. since April 2017, Ignacio provides support in data transfer applications and Unix operating systems. Previously, Ignacio held the position of Supervisor of Technical Support for Unix at CANTV, SA, where responsibilities included ensuring operational continuity on high-availability platforms. Ignacio's early career includes roles as a full-time professor of operating systems and simulation at Universidad Metropolitana and as a third-level support specialist in IT, where Ignacio managed Unix platforms for various clients. Ignacio holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
