Jorge Rojas Varas currently serves as the Encargado de TI at S.C.M. Atacama Kozan since July 2023. Previously, Jorge held the position of Jefe de Informática at COEMIN S.A from February 2022 to August 2022, and served as Encargado de Informática at Coemin from June 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing technological project milestones. Jorge also contributed to the Universidad de Atacama as a Professor académico invitado and researcher focused on identifying gaps in software engineering practices in the Latin American industry. Additional roles include a relator for web development courses for MYPES at Advisor Copiapó and a Technician in Connectivity for a MINSAL project at Entel. Jorge Rojas Varas holds multiple degrees from the Universidad de Atacama, including a Magíster en Informática y Ciencias de la Computación and an Ingeniería civil en Computación e Informática.
