Willene D'Costa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Willene began working as a Summer Intern in Finance at Essar Shipping Limited in 2013, where they prepared financial models and analyzed the company's financial performance. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern at DGS Marine Management, where they filed and evaluated claims cases and provided risk assessment reports. In 2015, they took on a Business Development Intern role at STEMconnector and Million Women Mentors, where they conducted outreach efforts, performed financial analysis, and evaluated ROI metrics. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Manager of Finance and Business Development at Goa Ore Carriers, and from December 2019, they have been employed at RxDataScience Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist.

Willene D' Costa began their education at Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science HSS, where they obtained their High School Diploma in the field of Science from 2010 to 2012. Willene then attended Bentley University from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and a global perspective in the field of LSM (unknown abbreviation). Willene continued their education at Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business from 2018 to 2019, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics. During their educational journey, Willene also earned additional certifications. In September 2019, they obtained a certification in 'Databases and SQL for Data Science' from Coursera. In October 2017, they achieved a certification in 'Python for Everybody Specialization' from Coursera. Lastly, in April 2014, Willene completed the 'Bloomberg Essential Market Sector Training Program' from Bloomberg LP.
