Aaron Ott is currently the VP of Application Security at Rule4. Aaron has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Aaron started their career as a Technical Support Representative for Polycom Inc. and then became a Product Support Engineer for Voyant Technologies. In 2007, they became a Senior PHP Developer / Systems Administrator for VideoBloom. Aaron then spent 11 years at AppliedTrust as a Sr. Engineer before moving to Flexential in 2018 as an Sr. Architect.

Aaron Ott has an associates degree in science from Frontrange Community College and an associates degree in computer networking from Westwood College of Technology. Aaron also has certification from (ISC)² in Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In addition, they have certification from Offensive Security in Offensive Security Certified Professional.

Aaron Ott works with Drew Port - VP, Operations, Haley Berry - CCO, and Paul Nelson - CTO. Aaron Ott reports to Dan Mackin, Co-Founder & Co-Ceo.
