Prosper Wiredu Ackah is an Associate Research Scientist at RT MicroDx since December 2022, focusing on designing and optimizing primers for LAMP reactions and developing assays to evaluate the pH-sensitivity of Chitosan in various buffer solutions. Previously, Prosper served as a Biologist II at AbbVie, conducting analytical testing and performing ELISA tests to support antibody development. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant role at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where molecular biology techniques were utilized to study protein interactions and create lipid nano-vesicles, as well as positions as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant and Research Laboratory Technician. Prosper holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with a Minor in Chemistry from Worcester State University and a High School Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Management & Economics from Asankrangwa Senior High Secondary School.
