Eyrún Maríusdóttir is a Biomedical Scientist currently working at Landspitali University Hospital since September 2022, specializing in laboratory services and blood product processing for the Blood Bank of Iceland. In previous roles, Eyrún has served as Floor Supervisor and Team Leader at first direct arena from November 2018 to June 2022, managing teams and ensuring compliance with food and beverage regulations. Eyrún's experience also includes a position as a Covid-19 Multiskilled Test Operative with Sodexo, and various work experience placements in healthcare settings, observing and assisting in medical procedures. Eyrún holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Háskóli Íslands and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biomedical Sciences from Leeds Beckett University.
