James Lord has had a diverse range of roles and experiences in the event planning and luxury industries. James started their career as a business development director at English & Pockett in 1997 and then moved on to various roles at Quintessentially Lifestyle, including director of weddings and MD of Quintessentially Atelier. In 2014, they became the director of The Proposers - Proposal & Romantic Event Planning until 2019. James later held positions at Being There Virtually, The UK Weddings Taskforce, and Kit Us Up. In 2022, they became the CEO of RSVP and then went on to become the CEO of Mic.club. Additionally, they served as an ambassador at AllSeated in 2018 and as a co-producer at ENGAGE! Europe in 2016. Overall, James Lord's work experience showcases their expertise in event planning, luxury branding, and business development.
James Lord has a Master of Arts degree in Arts Admin from City, University of London (1993-1994). James also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Notting Trent University (1988-1992). Prior to that, they attended Bury Grammar School from 1981 to 1988.
