Oscar von Reis is the Founder and Co-CEO of ROYC Group, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Blackstone from 2009 to 2022, where they held various roles including Managing Director in Tactical Opportunities and European Corporate Advisory & Restructuring. Oscar also had a brief stint at Nexum Capital in Private Credit in 2009. Before that, they worked in Growth Equity at InnovationsKapital in 2008 and in Corporate M&A at J.P. Morgan in 2008. Oscar started their career as a Stock Broker at Nordnet Bank AB in 2007 and served as a Sergeant in the Swedish Armed Forces, Royal Marines Corp from 2004 to 2005.

Oscar von Reis completed their MBA in Finance at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc in Accounting & Financial Analysis from Stockholm School of Economics from 2004 to 2009. In 2005, they also obtained a Certificate in Engineer Officer's Certificate in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering through Mandatory Military Service at Chalmers University of Technology. Unfortunately, there is no available information regarding their earlier education at Sigrid Rudebecks Gymnasium.
