Benjamin Vickers MRTPI is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in policy development and advisory roles. Currently serving as Team Leader: Planning Policy at South Ribble Borough Council, Benjamin oversees a team contributing to the Central Lancashire Plan. As Director of Benjamin Vickers Planning, support is offered across various planning processes, including application management and policy writing. Additionally, Benjamin serves as a Trustee and Treasurer for the Royal Town Planning Institute, where responsibilities include chairing the England Policy panel and preparing annual business plans for RTPI North West. Previous roles include Senior Planning Policy Officer at Cheshire East Council, Planning Policy Officer at the London Borough of Camden, and various positions in community fundraising and customer service. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Town & Country Planning from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography & Cultural Studies from the University of Surrey.
