Jonathan C. currently serves as the Head of External Affairs at the Royal Aeronautical Society, a role commenced in January 2024. Jonathan has extensive experience in defense and security, having worked as a Senior Executive in Defence and Security at the UK Ministry of Defence until December 2023. Additionally, Jonathan has held non-executive positions at Revolve Renewable Power and the Carlyon Artificial Intelligence Group, focusing on renewable energy and AI ethics, respectively. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Policy & Security Risk Strategy Advisor at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where Jonathan specialized in international security policy. Jonathan's earlier experience encompasses business development in Latin America and senior diplomatic roles, including British Consul General in Monterrey, Mexico. With a solid educational background in Chemistry and Management Studies, as well as security and ethics, Jonathan is well-equipped for roles within complex environments.
