Steve Denton is an accomplished executive in civil engineering, currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Civil Engineering at WSP since October 1992. Additionally, Steve holds the position of Vice President at the Royal Academy of Engineering as of September 2023. Steve is actively involved as Chair of CEN/TC 250 - Structural Eurocodes, a role maintained since July 2013, and serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Bath from 2008 onward. Since 2015, Steve has been a Trustee of the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust. Earlier in their career, from 1996 to 1999, Steve was a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, where Steve completed education from 1989 to 1992.
