Lyndon H. has extensive work experience in research and development. Lyndon began their career in 1995 as a Research and Design Engineer at Tecton Limited. In 2002, they moved on to Sharp Laboratories of Europe Limited as a Senior Researcher, where they worked on image processing, video processing and computer vision. In 2007, they became a Visiting Researcher at Matsuyama Laboratory, University of Kyoto, where they worked on new algorithms to find cut paths that produce easier to compress parameterisations of 3D meshes. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Research Manager and Director at Tiliam Research Limited, where they used computer vision and video processing for novel video stabilisation software. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Research Associate in Video Compression at the University of Bristol. Finally, since 2021, they have been working at Vaarst as Head of Research and Computer Vision Team Lead.
Lyndon H. completed their education history with a PhD from the University of Surrey in 2001, in the field of Motion estimation and segmentation for multimedia video. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc. from the University of Surrey in 1995, in the field of Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence. Lyndon began their educational journey at the University of Reading, where they earned a BEng(Hons) in Electronic Engineering between 1991 and 1994. No additional certifications were obtained.
