Kharena Keith Coleman, M.Ed, serves as the Strategic Partnerships Coordinator for Romulus Community Schools since June 2023, focusing on creating internship opportunities for students, developing a database of community partners, and enhancing community access to support the school district. As Chief Operating Officer for Inclusion Score since 2021 and an Education Researcher & Consultant at Keith Institute since 2013, Kharena brings 15 years of experience in education, STEM, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), with five years dedicated to consulting. Previous roles include Program Manager at the University of Michigan, Coordinator of Wellness & Community Partnerships at Ypsilanti Community Schools, Title 1 Intervention at Ypsilanti Community Middle School, and science teacher positions at Covenant House Academy and Detroit Edison Public School Academy. Kharena holds a Master of Education from Marygrove College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University.
