Ozgur Oksuz has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field since 2010. Ozgur began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2010. In 2012, they became a Graduate Student at NYU Langone Medical Center. In 2018, they began working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Whitehead Institute. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior Scientist at ROME Therapeutics.
Ozgur Oksuz obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Izmir Institute of Technology in 2009, after studying there from 2006-2009. Ozgur then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from NYU School of Medicine, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, which they completed in 2018.
