Sonya Louviere, Ed.D., currently serves as Principal at Carencro Catholic within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette, LA, since 2023. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Sonya has been the Principal at Rene Rost Middle School since July 2017 and held the position of Assistant Principal at North Vermilion Middle School under the Vermilion Parish School Board from March 2014 to July 2022. Prior to these roles, Sonya worked as a Literacy Project Director at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Picard Center from November 2012 to February 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and multiple master's degrees in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
