Peter Felton is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as a Senior Propulsion Design Engineer and Design Lead at Rocket Lab since January 2021, Peter has previously held various engineering roles at Millennium Space Systems, Morf3D Inc., and Lockheed Martin. Notably, Peter led the requalification process of a complex connector assembly and contributed to significant design improvements across multiple projects. Early career experiences include supervising a bike shop at UCLA Outdoor Adventures and interning at both Morf3D and Alcoa Fastening Systems, where Peter achieved measurable cost savings. Peter holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
