Bryan Kamrath is an experienced leader in software engineering and operations with a strong background in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Head/Chapter Lead for Foundation Software Engineering & Operations at Roche, Bryan previously held key positions, including Sr. Director of Software Development at Illumina, where leadership of a multi-site Instrument Software organization was pivotal in supporting over 20,000 on-market installs. Other notable roles include VP at IDbyDNA, overseeing precision metagenomics solutions, and leading teams at Roche in both Platform Software Engineering and Verification and Validation. Bryan's earlier experience includes director-level roles at Vital Images, Inc. and Thomson Reuters, as well as significant contributions at Medtronic, Inc. and various quality assurance positions at early-career companies. Bryan holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Master’s in Software Engineering, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Genetics and Cell Biology.
