Server/Bartender Job Description
As the Server/Bartender you will be responsible for ensuring that guests get top quality food and drinks in a clean and safe environment while executing Service Philosophy. (see below)
ā Follow Guest Service Methodology.
ā Manage your section of 5-7 tables with a high level of engagement including bussing
tables and running food and drinks per teamwork-centric service model.
ā Follow all Guest Service Steps marked out in SOP.
ā Ensure a positive mental attitude and greet all guests with enthusiasm and
friendliness.
ā Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in
a friendly manner.
ā Performs side work and finds ways to help team during non-busy hours.
ā Speaks to guests with enthusiasm at all times and ensure that guests have a
positive and memorable experience at Brick.
ā Attend to guests during their entire dining/drinking experience.
ā Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
ā Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
ā Communicates with every member of the team with 100% callbacks.
ā Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, well groomed, and ready to be in position.
ā Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
ā Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers.
ā Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.
ā Maintains full knowledge of menus, drinks, recipes, and other pertinent information
while increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
ā Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience at Brick.
ā Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
ā Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company
standards. Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
ā Clocks in for work in full uniform, ready to work.
ā Maintains full knowledge of menus, drinks, recipes, and other pertinent information
while increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
ā Be a subject matter expert in all areas of the bar operations to provide effective
leadership the bar staff.
ā Ensure all cash handling processes and procedures are being followed
ā Performs other duties as assigned.
ā Ability to remain resilient under pressure.
ā Ability to work well in a teamwork-centric environment.
ā Ability to make quality and timely decisions.
ā Great communication and organizational skills.
