Josh Nattress has worked for three companies in the aviation industry. Josh began their career in 2006 as an Aircraft Mechanic for SkyWest Airlines. In 2007, they joined Air Methods where they held various roles, including Regional Maintenance Director, Regional Maintenance Manager, and Aircraft Maintenance Technician. In 2022, they became the Director of Operations for Robotic Skies. During their time at Air Methods, they were a lead mechanic on an EC145 EMS helicopter, factory trained on a Bell 407 model helicopter, and experienced on a Platus PC-12 mechanic.

Josh Nattress received their High School Diploma from Woods Cross High School in 2003 after studying General Studies from 2000-2003. Josh then went on to receive their Associate's degree in Aviation technology from Salt Lake Community College from 2004-2006.
