Hitesh Thakrar is a highly experienced professional currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Cancer Research UK and as a Council Member for the STFC, where Hitesh also chairs the Business and Innovation Committee. Hitesh holds the position of Partner at Syncona Limited, advising on public market dynamics within a Wellcome Trust-backed venture fund. As Chair of the Health Innovation Network, Hitesh fosters collaboration between the NHS, academic institutions, and industry to drive healthcare innovation. Additional roles include Chair of the Remuneration Committee and Board Member at The Alan Turing Institute, Advisor for the UKI2S Advisory Committee, Board Trustee at RNOH Charity, and former Chair of the Investment Committee at Newable.
