Aarne Vasarik is an experienced technology leader with a current position as Chief Technology Officer at RIT | Riigi IKT Keskus since March 2022. Prior to this role, Aarne served as the Head of Infrastructures Department at the Centre of Registers and Information Systems from January 2019 to March 2022. Aarne's extensive background in systems maintenance includes roles as Deputy Director of Systems Maintenance Field, Head of Systems Maintenance Department, and Head of Systems Maintenance Division at RMIT - Rahandusministeeriumi Infotehnoloogiakeskus from January 2012 to December 2018, and similar positions at the Estonian Tax and Customs Board from May 2008 to December 2011. Aarne began the career as an ICT Expert at AS Datel and as a Customer Support Engineer at KPNQwest Estonia. Aarne holds a Master’s degree in Business Information Technology from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and a Diploma in IT Systems Administration from Estonian Information Technology College.
